M/s Mine Safety Equipment is a specially created company with a focus on bringing Potassium Superoxide Self-Contained Breathing System to the mining industry. It focuses on customising to the Indian Conditions with a strict control on costs. Accordingly, it has already obtained DGMS approval for its 30 minutes duration SCSR with the trade name Jeevan Rakshak – JR30.
M/s Mine Safety Equipment is actively in the process of development of:
1. Jeevan Rakshak JR60 Duration 60 minutes for UG mines.
2. Jeevan Rakshak JR10 Duration 10 minutes focused on general civilian use.
3. Jeevan Rakshak Duration 2 and 4 hours focused as an alternative to BG4. To be developed in co-ordination with DRDO-DEBEL.
